Eternal Father, I offer you the Most Precious Blood of your Divine Son, Jesus, in union with the masses said throughout the world today for all the Holy Souls in Purgatory, for sinners everywhere, for sinners in the Universal Church, those in my own Home and within my family, Amen.

Prayer of St.Gertrude, the Great. This prayer is said to release 1,000 souls each time it is prayed.

Holy Father's intentions for November 2008
General: That the testimony of love offered by the Saints, may fortify Christians in their service to God and neighbour, imitating Christ who came not to be served but to serve.
Mission: That Christian communities in Asia, contemplating the face of Christ, may find the most suitable way to announce Him in full fidelity to the Gospel to the peoples of that vast continent so rich in culture and ancient forms of spirituality.

A perfect exa...

THE LAST JUDGEMENT

Beginning a new liturgical year, we start with a fresh gospel, the one almost certainly the first to be written, the Gospel of Mark. This year, we are invited to see Christ through Mark's eyes, as we explore with him the meaning of discipleship and his understanding of Christianity. His readers were probably a group of persecuted Christians in Rome some thirty years after the death and resurrection of Christ...Read More
