Dear Missionaries,

Let us thank God for having bestowed upon Blessed Allamano the charism of the foundation of the Institute, for the good of the Church and of humanity. After a little over one hundred years of life, we are fully aware that it is indispensable to confirm our dynamic fidelity to the original charism, in order to be suitable to answer in an appropriate way the challenges of the present time and of the near future.

The Acts if the Chapter,- the outcome of a strong experience of communion of intents, – summarize for us the journey of the Institute during the first centenary of its life, regarding our style of living and of mission, and also offer us some new orientations and decisions to help our life and evangelization, according to our ideals, in the six years ahead of us.

The decisions taken by the XIth General Chapter will become law on August 15, 2005,.

The General Direction, through meetings, activities and various initiatives, will cooperate willingly to the acceptance and understanding of the spirit of the Acts, with the help of all those who have taken part in the first General Chapter of the new Millennium, which has been a very special moment of grace for all.

May Mary Consolata, our beloved Mother, and Blessed Joseph Allamano, our Father and Guide, be our inspiration, our stimulus and blessing to help us walk as brothers, in our missionary family of the Consolata Missionaries.
