NEW COMMUNITY

Prot. n. 191/04

The Superior General of the Consolata Missionary Institute, in a meeting on September 6, 2004, with the favourable vote of the General Council, in agreement with the Region of Ethiopia, decided to open the new community of Djibouti, in the Diocese of Djibouti, in conformity with the n. 127 of our Constitutions.
This community depends on the Region of Ethiopia and is comprised of these confrères: Fa-ther Armando Antonio Olaya Rodríguez, Father Matthieu Kasinzi Mbuta and Brother Maurizio Emanueli.

REUNIFICATION OF THE REGION OF CONGO

Prot. 192/04

The Superior General of the Consolata Missionary Institute, with the collegial vote of his Council, on September 22, 2004, having taken note of the changes in the Country and after the consultation with the confrères of the Region of Congo-Isiro and the Delegation of Congo-Kinshasa, decided to reunite the two Regions, temporally established on June 16, 1999 (Prot. 224/99), in a single Region.
This Decree will take effect as of October 1, 2004.
The Superior General, during his visitation to the Region, in agreement with the confrères, will appoint the new Regional Government, which will govern the Region for the usual term (cfr. Cost. 136.3).

NEW REGIONAL GOVERNMENT OF CONGO

After the two Congo Regions were reunited, the Superior General with the unanimous ap-proval of his Council appointed the following confrères as members of the Regional Government:
- Fr. Rinaldo Do, Regional Superior
- Fr. Stefano Camerlengo, Regional Vice-Superior
- Fr. Richard Larose, second Councilor
- Fr. Inácio Saure, third Councilor
- Fr. André Nekpala, fourth Councilor
This new Regional Government will begin its service on October 1, 2004 and will govern the Region for the usual term (cfr. Cost. 136.3).


DISPENSATIONS

On July 14, 2004, the Superior General granted a dispensation from the temporary vows to Thadeo Ereneus Mgimba, a student of the Theological Seminary of Nairobi (Prot. 186/04).

On August 17, 2004, the Congregation for Institutes of Consecrated Life granted a dispensa-tion from perpetual vows to the Brother Felix Ogando Wao (Prot. 48911/2004).


EXCLAUSTRATION

On August 17, 2004, the Congregation for Institutes of Consecrated Life granted the exten-sion of the indult of exclaustration for two years to Fr. Lorenzo Alzate Arboleda, so that he can exercise his priestly ministry under the Bishops of Fontibón - Colombia (Prot. 48912/2004).
