The Superior General of the Consolata Missionari Institute, in a meeting on March 4, 2004, having taken note of the request of the Region of Colombia and having had the favorable opinion of his Council, decided to close the local community of Tres Esquinas and transfer the parish to the Vicariate of San Vicente.

The Superior General of Consolata Missionari INstitute, in a meeting on April 2, 2004, having taken note of the request of the Region of Kenya and having had the favorable opinion of his Council, confirms the decision to open the new community IMC of Buoye, in the Archdiocese of Kisumu.

DISPENSATIONS

On February 14, 2004, the Superior General granted a dispensation from temporary vows to Miano Kinyua Benjamin, a student of the Theological Seminary of Nairobi (Prot. 01/04).

The Congregation for Institutes of Consecrated Life, on April 16, 2004, granted a dispensation from perpetual vows to the Fr. Guillermo Guerrero Márquez (Prot. 48724/2004).


EXCLAUSTRATIONS

On March 5, 2004, the Superior General granted an indult of exclaustration for three years to Fr. Oscar de Jesús Gallego Gil, so that he can exercise his priestly ministry under the Archbishop of Bogotá – Colombia (Prot. 13/04).

On March 12, 2004, the Superior General granted an indult of exclaustration for one year to Fr. Carlos Alberto Zuluaga Benjumea, so that he can exercise his priestly ministry under the Bishop of Cartago – Colombia (Prot. 15/04).

On April 2, 2004, the Superior General granted an indult of exclaustration for three years to Fr. Killian Wambua Muli, so that he can exercise his priestly ministry under the Bishop of Cheyenne (USA) (Prot. 21/04).

On April 2, 2004, the Congregation for the Institutes of Consecrated Life granted the extension of the indult of exclaustration to Fr. Joseph Kabali, so that he can exercise his priestly ministry ad experimentum under the Bishop of Metuchen (USA) (Prot. 48701/2004).
