On September 13, 2002, the Superior General has appointed Fr. Francesco Pavese as General Postulator of the Institute near the Congregation for the Causes of Saints (Prot. 287/02)

CLOSURE OF COMMUNITY

In a meeting on September 13, 2002, the Superior General of the Consolata Missionary Institute, took note of a proposal of the Congo Isiro Regional Council and with the favorable opinion of his Council, decided to close the local IMC community of Pawa in the Diocese of Wamba (Prot. n. 289/02).

EXCLAUSTRATIONS

On June 11, 2002, the Superior General granted Bro. José Angel López Fernández an indult of exclaustration for one year (Prot. 83/02). On July 1, 2002 the Superior General granted Bro. Benedict Ngala the same indult of exclaustration (Prot. 257/02).

On July 27, 2002, the Superior General granted Fr. Giuseppe Scotta an indult of exclaustration for three years so that he could exercise his priestly ministry under the jurisdiction of the Bishop of Fossano (Prot. 264/02).

On August 25, 2002, the Superior General granted Fr. Guillermo Guerrero Márquez an indult of exclaustration for one year without the exercise of priestly ministry (Prot. 280/02).

DISMISSAL

On July 27, 2002, with the collegial vote of his Council and in conformity to cannon 689, § 1 of the Code of Canon Law, the Superior General declared dismissed from the Consolata Missionary Institute the student of the Thelogical Seminary of London Maingi Mwiti Gilbert (Prot. 263/02).
