APPOINTMENTS

The Superior General of the Consolata Missionary Institute, having had the favourable opinion of his Council has confirmed the appointment of:

 Fr Giuseppe Sesana as administrator of the Region North America (23.01.2007);

 Fr Abraham Markos as administrator of the Region Ethiopia (23.01.2007);

 Fr Jean Marie Bilwala Kabesa as regional councilor of the Region Ethiopia in place of Fr Matthiew Kasinzi Mbuta who is studying abroad (14.03.2007).

The Superior General appointed Sebastien Ntoto Ntoto, student of the theological seminary of São Paulo, to the theological seminary of Rome (Bravetta) (16.02.2007).

On 31 March 2007 the Superior General posted the following Missionaries:

CONFIRMATION OF ADMISSIONS

The General Government has confirmed the admission of:

 Stephanos Tamrat Markos Mitore to the perpetual profession and diaconate done by the Region Colombia (24.03.2007);

 Woldemariam Ashenafi Yonas Abebe to the perpetual profession and diaconate done by the Region Colombia (24.03.2007);

 Andrew Lukhale Mulongo the the priesthood, done by the Region Colombia (24.03.2007);

 Mauro Cintra Santos to the priesthood, done by the Region Colombia (24.03.2007);

 Daniel Lorunguiya Suree to the priesthood, done by the Region Italy (29.03.2007).


LEAVE OF ABSENCE

The Superior General granted Fr Gervasio Gaona Acosta the permit to live outside the community for one year (31.01.2007).

The Superior General granted Fr Dario Sante Ravera the extension of the permit to live outside the community for one year (30.01.2007).


DISPENSATIONS

The Superior General granted Daniel Broqua, student of the Theological Seminary of Bogota, the dispensation of the Temporal vows (30.01.2007).

The Superior General granted Thomas Mbute Kabui, student of the Theological Seminary of Sao Paulo, the dispensation of the Temporal vows (29.03.2007).


DISMISSAL

With a rescript dated 13 March 2007, the Holy Father Benedict XVI, granted Fr Hélder Martins de Melo the dispensation of celibacy and all obligations inherent to the priestly ordination and the clericale state.

On April 04, 2007 the Congregation for Institutes of Consecrated Life confirmed the decree of dismissal from the Institute of Fr Raffaello Lombardo in conformity with canons 695 and 1395.
