Allamano House yesterday had mixed joy and sorrow as they bid farewell to Deacon Daniele Giuseppe Giolitti who will be flying to Italy. This was the joy of having an ambassador for Kenya and Allamano House in particular to Mongolia but this came with the sorrow of parting with each other not knowing when we shall meet again. Bidding him farewell, Fr. Pendawazima, the Rector of Allamano Houses expressed the joy of having the Deacon as our representative in Mongolia and thanked him for all that he had been to the community of Allamano.

The Deacon will be ordained on 28th June this year in Certose di Lerno (Cuneo), Italy, and leave for his mission in Mongolia in September this year.

Deacon Daniele Giuseppe Giolitti who did his Theological studies in Kenya, has a tale to tell of the People from Northern Kenya especially, Wamba Parish where he has enjoyed his year of service and ministry as a Deacon.

He fell so much in love with the Nomads there that, he even organized his diaconate ordination among them. He found it painful to leave the people but this to him, is the challenge of the Missionary life; obedience.

May God bless him in his preparation for his ordination, and in his ministry in Mongolia as a true Misionary.
